He was playing in a small club, and in walked Charles Mingus, who had played with Parker a lot. He took one look at the horn and gave Phil Woods the dirtiest look imaginable.

I’ve noticed Luke runs his all the time. Last time I was driving him back from CNU I made him drive and turned off the app. As we were getting closer to home I started hearing “Oh, that’s where that is?” And the like.

Darn, was hoping it was for highway protestors on the track....and their quick lesson about physics, if you know what I mean.

In each case, but one, I was dropped from the suit. In the case that DID go to trial, I was found not liable. My involvement was quite peripheral in that one. I never settled.
